Holly Bolton - Founder / General Psychologist

Holly has experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation, Corrections, Behaviour Support, and with a range of diagnoses and presentations including; trauma, substance use, psychosis, personality disorders, sexual dysfunction, anxiety, depression, bipolar, more.

She is an approved Victim Services Counsellor and Open Arms Psychologist, is able to see all NDIS clients, provide medicare rebates, accept white/gold cards, complete couples and family counselling, and provide private health rebates. 

​

Face to face and telehealth appointments are available.

Holly works Monday, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in the Bolton Street Newcastle office.

Zachary Herron - General Psychologist

Zachary has experience working with trauma, depression, anger, substance use, and men's issues. 

​

Zachary is an approved Victim Services Counsellor and Open Arms Psychologist, is able to see NDIS self/plan managed clients, provide medicare rebates, accept white/gold cards, complete couples and family counselling, and provide private health rebates. 

​

Face to face and telehealth appointment are available.

Zachary works Monday, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at our Bolton Street office in Newcastle.

Terri Skibowski - General Psychologist

Terri has experience working with a range of diagnoses and presentations including; trauma, ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, and more. She uses a range of CBT, DBT, and ACT principles in her treatment structure and is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) trained.

Terri is able to see all NDIS clients, provide medicare rebates, accept white/gold cards, complete couples and family counselling, and provide private health rebates. 

​

Telehealth appointments are available on Monday and Wednesdays.

​

Terri will work Telehealth on Mondays and in our Bolton Street Newcastle office on Wednesdays and Fridays 

Cristelle Gamas - General Psychologist

Cristelle has experience working with depression, anxiety, grief, substance use, trauma, emotional regulation, psychosis, schizophrenia, ADHD, ODD, conduct disorder, and more! Cristelle uses motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, Interpersonal psychotherapy, solution focused therapy, narrative therapy, and psychodrama principles and role play.

Cristelle is an approved Victims Services Counsellor, able to see NDIS self/plan managed clients, provide medicare rebates, accept white/gold cards, complete couples and family counselling, and provide private health rebates.

Cristelle works Wednesdays and Thursdays via telehealth, and Face-to-face on Fridays in the Bolton Street Newcastle office.

Brooke Austin - General Psychologist

Brooke has experience working with depression, anxiety, grief, substance use, trauma, emotional regulation, and more! Brooke uses CBT, DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing.

​

Brooke is able to see all NDIS clients, Victims Services clients, provide medicare rebates, accept white/gold cards, and provide private health rebates. 

​

Brooke works Mondays and Wednesdays Face-to-face in the Bolton Street Newcastle office.

Grant MacHenry - General Psychologist

Grant has experience working in private, not-for-profit, government funded programs, and schools, with clients across the lifespan presenting with a wide variety of mental health and psychosocial issues including mood and anxiety disorders, developmental disorders, trauma and stress-related disorders, and substance use disorders.

 

Grant draws upon a variety of therapeutic modalities including CBT, ACT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy, and has experience in adaptive, behavioural, and cognitive assessments.

 

Grant is available to see clients under Medicare, NDIS, and private clients on Thursdays from our Newcastle office.

Manja Van Rhijn - General Psychologist 

Manja (pronounced mun-ya) is a General Psychologist and Sex Therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience helping individuals achieve their goals. 

 

She has worked with a diverse range of clients with varying ethnic, social, educational, and economic backgrounds and has previously worked with clients in defence. 

She is passionate about working with clients to increase their self confidence and self-esteem and uses a range of therapeutic models including CBT, ACT and Motivational Interviewing. 

 

Manja is able to receive referrals through victim services, medicare, white/gold cards, NDIS, private health funds, independently, and is qualified to complete couples counselling.  

 

Manja works Mondays and Tuesdays in the Bolton Street Office.

Angie Yashchuk - General Psychologist 

Anzhelika (Angie) is a general psychologist who is able to accept medicare referrals, private health, white/ gold cards, NDIS, and Victim Services.

 

Angie has experience working with eating disorders, trauma, personality disorders, DID, and more.

 

She is able to see clients over the age of 10 and uses CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, and more.

 

Angie works telehealth on Mondays. 

Sarah Alcock - Provisional Psychologist

Sarah has experience working with problematic behaviours, autism, anxiety, ADHD, depression, and more. She is able to complete Autism, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Anxiety, and Depression assessments with comprehensive reports for your medical team and/or school.

She is able to see NDIS clients, independent clients without a medicare referral, and complete couples and family counselling. As Sarah is not able to complete medicare rebates, a lower rate is charged for her appointments. 

​

Face to face and telehealth appointment are available. 

​

Sarah works Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at our Bolton Street office, in Newcastle.

Sam Wanigabaduge - Provisional Psychologist

Sam is completing her Masters of Clinical Psychology. She has experience working with complex trauma, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Anxiety, Autism, and behavioural issues.

Sam is able to see all NDIS clients, independent clients without a medicare referral, and complete couples and family counselling. As Sam is not able to complete medicare rebates, a lower rate is charged for her appointments. 

​

Sam can complete assessments for autism, ADHD, mood, cognitive function, and personality disorders.

​

Face to face and telehealth appointment are available.

Sam works Thursdays at our Bolton Street office in Newcastle.

Arielle Scott - Provisional Psychologist

Arielle has experience with trauma, grief, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, and supports clients to achieve cognitive, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual well-being. 

​

She is able to see independent clients without a medicare referral, and complete couples and family counselling. As Arielle is not able to provide medicare rebates, a lower rate is charged for her appointments. Arielle is able to complete ODD, Depression, Anxiety, and other assessments via telehealth. 

​

Only telehealth appointments are available. 

​

Arielle works Thursday nights, Fridays and Saturdays. 

Ben Gorton - Provisional Psychologist

Ben has experience working with ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, PTSD, Schizophrenia, and intellectual disabilities. Ben uses CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing and problem solving.

Ben is able to see all NDIS clients, independent clients without a medicare referral, and complete couples and family counselling. As Ben is not able to complete medicare rebates, a lower rate is charged for his appointments. 

​

Ben can complete assessments for Autism, ADHD, cognitive function, and personality disorders.

​

Face to face and telehealth appointments are available.

Caitlin Pluta - Counsellor

Caitlin is a counsellor with experience ranging from helping children in regional schools, to helping adults with sexual difficulties.

 

Caitlin's special area of interest is sex therapy. Caitlin is looking forward to expanding into helping couples with sexual difficulties this year.

​

Caitlin is able to see Victims Services registered, NDIS registered and independent clients.

​

Caitlin has a Masters Degree in CBT from Flinders University, and has completed training from well known sexologist, Tanya Koens. She is a level 3 counsellor, registered with the Australian Counselling Association and is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) trained. 

​

Caitlin works Wednesdays and Thursdays at our Scott Street office in Newcastle.

Isabella Nielsen - Counsellor

Isabella is a trauma-informed and person-centred counsellor who has experience working with a range of mental health diagnoses and presentations including depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, trauma, complex post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and autism. 

 

Isabella has previous experience working as a behaviour support practitioner, working with individuals living with neurological and psychosocial disorders, and providing training and support to parents and carers. 

 

Isabella is interested in working with children, young people, and adults who are wanting to improve their communication skills and develop healthy relationships, improve self-confidence, emotional regulation skills, and manage mental health challenges.

 

Her qualifications include: Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice, and Diploma of Counselling and Communication Skills. Isabella is a member of the Australian Counselling Association.

Isabella works Wednesdays at our Scott Street office in Newcastle
